Open the Door to Your Soul - Conundrum II is a painting that opens the door to the soul. This image looks deep within and allows you to look within yourself. Conundrum II is a fabric and paint collage inspired by quilting. The gold and azure colored woman's face is created with alternating triangles of fabric and acrylic paint, changing between light and dark. Her face is painted with saffron yellow and royal blue. The fabric and paint create a seamless and separate face. Her hair is painted green and amber. The woman's face is actually a double face - the right side is stretched into a second face. The bottom and top parts of this creation consist of triangles of alternating fabric and paint, and alternating sunglow yellow and ultramarine blue.
